Fafraha Community Senior High School is a mixed-gender institution located in the heart of Fafraha. Our school is dedicated to providing quality education to students from all backgrounds.
Fafraha Community Senior High School is situated in the Adentan Municipality in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The school which was extablised in the year 2016, is a Government Assisted second cycle school that serves Adentan Community and its environs.
As an academic institution, the school is built on the values of discipline, academic excellence, hardwork, integrity, moral principles and effective leadership skills.
The school was commissioned by the then President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on 11th November, 2016. The pioneers of the school were made up of 201 boys, 304 girls, 49 tutors and 11 non teaching staff
The school crest has the shape of a heart inverted at the top. it is divided into 5 sections. The left upper part is the Adinkra symbo of wisdom and knowledge embedded in a local stool. On top of the stool is the mortar board which signified academic pursuit.
Beneath this symbol is the magnificient and imposing Odum tree which stands tall at the heart of the school. We envisage that students from this great school will be as resilient and versatile as the Odum tree. The upper right and left depicts symbols of science and industry. At the centre of tit all is a blazing torch on a pack of books.
The motto of the school is "NILEE JI KANE". It is a Ga phrase which means KNOWLEDGE IS LIGHT.
In totality we have the firm conviction that all who pass through this school will acquire adequate knowledge which will be the blazing light that will propel them to greater heights outside the walls of this noble institution.
